Which data is collected, and why that comes down to none.

These terms apply to the use of the Barcodehammer app. By using the app you agree to them.
The app is free to use, for yourself and for your work. There is also a Pro version with extra features. You may not sell, rent out or offer the app as your own product.
The app draws the code you specify. Whether you are allowed to use that code somewhere is a separate question. Pay particular attention with EAN and UPC numbers: those are issued by GS1, and a self-created code carrying a number that is not yours does not belong on a product you sell. The app checks whether a number is technically correct, not whether it is yours.
The app reads what is in a code and draws what you specify. The fact that the app works properly says nothing about the content of the code. All that is established is that a code is technically readable, not that what it contains is correct, valid, current or safe.
A QR code you scan may point to a forged payment page, an article number may belong to no product at all, a ticket may already have been used and a voucher may have expired. The app cannot establish any of this, and does not attempt to. A code that comes up without trouble is therefore no indication that anything about it is right.
The same applies to the Open button. It hands an address from the code to your device; which app opens it and where it leads is determined by the code, not by Barcodehammer. No check is made on whether an address can be trusted. Judge the content yourself before you tap it, especially with a code you scanned in a public place.
The app is provided as is. There is no guarantee that every code will be read by every scanner under all conditions: that also depends on the printer, the paper, the screen and the scanner itself. Always verify a code that really matters before you use it.
The developer is not liable for damage arising from use of the app, to the extent permitted by law.
